I met Rusty Thornhill at the Dallas Show this past weekend and first let me say, what a fine gentleman! I wasn't too sure about his picks but after using them for a week now, I'm sold! They're very comfortable and if these picks fly off your fingers you're probably playin' too fast anyway! These picks are remarkable and it take some time to get used to them. Also my first pair ordered were small when I really needed to get mediums. I've used them for over a year and now they are second nature. Although they are strange looking at first glance they do exactly what Rusty claims. Comfort and non slipping.
I'd recommend them to all. |

| They are fantastic, I agree. At first they feel like you are just playing with fingernails.Very natural and comfortable and easily aligned for your finger shape. They are my picks from now on too.I just worry about crushing them with my foot as they are pretty delicate and not cheap!One day I'll buy a spare pair. I like the flats better than the rounds (which I think are better for banjo)!Rusty is a great guy to do business and actually called me after I ordered them just to talk picks! |

| I just bought a pair in Dallas. I love the fit but they seem long to me, I get all tangled in the strings. Any recommendations to speed up the getting used to them process? |

David,
Mine also seemed a little too long compared to standard picks but I kept adjusting them until I got the fit I wanted. It does take some time to get used to them...You might contact Rusty to get his input also. As was mentioned, they're so comfortable they're almost like being a part of your finger...in other words, more natural feeling...IMHO--YMMV as with anything. Carl |

| Louis, it's like anything else with steel guitar....013 gauge vs .25 gauge, etc, etc...so many choices...Hey, at least you tried them and you're happy with your standard picks and that's what counts...Carl |

| I just received mine saturday and so far the're great, and i like the tone better with them, seems more balanced too. I got the thumb pick with mine and it's going take a little more time to get use to it than the finger picks, it's allmost like it's not even there. I've played with nationals for over 30 years but i think these are going to take their place. |

I agree with you Carl.
After testing I can say that Perfect Touch is a high quality product.
Comfortable and remains firmly in place.
Too bad for me!

Got a set with a thumb pick. I love um. They sure arent going to fly off anywhere. I'm glad I spent the extra bucks. Martin.

| I use the Stevens/Pearse, which is a somewhat similar design, but with openings in the sides, and I feel these provide more "grip" than the solid wraps. |
