It must have been quite cold in the GMA studio. The young man had to keep his wool hat on and pulled down over his ears . I really enjoyed his playing.

Greg Leisz has played steel with kd for years. But I just watched her GMA performance online and that isn't Greg. Don't know who it is. |

I saw her on Regis&Kelly today and the steel player had a brown Sho-Bud Pro II and it wasn't Greg, who ever played some tasty stuff. _________________ Steeltronics Z-pickup,Desert Rose S-10 4+5,Desert Rose Keyless S-10 3+5... From what I can determine by doing a google, the steel player is Joshua Grange who was with Dwight Yoakum. I hope this helps. |

Hey all,
Yes indeed, I have begun to play steel with k.d.lang. We're going on a year long tour run in '08. That was a Pro-I , and I wore that hat to say "hi" to my girlfriend who gave it to me.....
Greg Leisz is playing on her new album "Watershed". k.d. is an incredible singer and a really cool person too. I remember when i first saw her in concert at the Wiltern Theater in L.A. 10 years ago. Greg was playing steel with her and it was an amazing show, and I'm really happy/lucky/honored to be playing with her...

Hey Josh--sounded good. Are you doubling on a Farfisa? I couldn't make out what you had there.
kd is a brilliant singer. It must be tremendously satisfying to work with someone with such a great instrument (her voice). |

Congrates on a great gig.
I remember learning Last Cigarette a few years back
and think WOW this is some nice steel work to cover. _________________ DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

But pedal steels have many! |
