Hi Clinton,
Try contacting Ron or Bobbe at Emmons; they have always had prompt answers to my questions, and been able to date guitars.

It's an S-10 Emmons Original, from the early 80's. The two holes in the changer backplate are not original to the instrument. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Hello Herb,
Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.
I checked out your site as well, I could be very interested in purchasing some of your instructional material. I will be in touch.
Cheers mate.

The pickup is in backwards and the tuning keys have been changed, it's been jerked around quite a bit it seems. How bad has the bottom been "improved"? |

Hey Bob,
How can you tell that the pick up is back to front? I trust your opinion but I cannot see a difference. I will post some photos of the guts for your inspection as I know you know what you are talking about.
Cheers Bob. |

The large amount of over hang on the top plastic piece should be toward the front of the guitar, this one isn't, it at the back,,,,,, player side.
Notice how the strings do not line up with the magnets?

Hey Bobbe,
Cheers mate.
It might be time to get Mr. Screwdriver out and rectify this situation. |
