If thats the one, that picture was made when I owned it. It is the first Valley Pecan made and it is a great guitar.

That looks like the one. Doc it came from your neck of the woods. I think there was a delivery date of 10-06 (?) from the factory. I really like the guitar and I am pretty close to keeping it. The only reason I am considering selling is I have a chance to buy another guitar that I "want" and right now I have too many here now. I think a new one built like this is over $4700 If it doesn't sell soon before I come to my senses I will pull it off the forum in a day or two. _________________ JCH D10, 71 D10 P/p fat back, Telonics TCA 500C--12-,Fender JBL Twin, Josh Swift signature. |

My wife told me not to sell it and I could still buy the Franklin. It is a hard choice but!!!! Close this up. Thanks for all the emails and interest but I am keeping the Rains _________________ JCH D10, 71 D10 P/p fat back, Telonics TCA 500C--12-,Fender JBL Twin, Josh Swift signature. |

Keep it Bill, get a Franklin too. You deserve them. They are great guitars.
Been with the same wonderful woman for 42 years. But "I've had about 20 steels in the last two years. She does QVC and I do steels. We are both deleriously happy.
I make the living, she makes it worthwhile.

Hi Jerry,
Hope you're mended now. The Rains I got from you was a great guitar also. Converted it to a Spirit model with Bill Simmons and Gary's help. Played like Honey. Sold it 2 days later. Carl Vilar has it and loves it. Wonderful wives and great steels. Can't ask for more than that.
