Can anyone tell me if the RC 2000 controller works with the Peavey Bassfex? Which Peavey products does it work with and can it be used with any non-Peavey products.
I did write to Mike Brown but have not heard back yet. I recently used it with my Tubefex but just sold that, so I may need to sell the RC 2000 also. Thanks steve t

Steve. This unit also works with the Session 2000, (which is what it was originally designed for) and the Transtubefex and Tubefex processors.

The RC2000 works with the Transtube Fex, Transfex Pro 212 amp, the Tubefex. It will most likely control preset selection on many other models though.

The RC-2000 has a input jack for external power. Peavey sells an adapter. With external power it acts like a Midi controller so it may work on non Peavey products with a 5 wire cable. It uses a special 8 wire midi cable when used with the Peavey products. The two pots are assignable

It is my understanding that the Bassfex is the same as the Profex II, except for the different factory presets.
