Leo Fender's Lab
as left exactly as it was
from the day he passed on.

Some interesting things he had
on his plate at the time.
I would have put this in electronics,
but more will see it here _________________ DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

Drew,I believe it's at G&L guitars. That was his last place of employment. |

Well, if they ever have to pack up his room, they'll need to recreate it somewhere, like at the Smithsonian. |

Actually The Smithsonian is a pretty good place for this.
His ideas certainly reshaped the world we live in.
Maybe not as earthshakingly as some,
But heck Lindberg just managed to live crossing the Atlantic,
but his plane is there.
Leo's ideas changed how music was played and how bands worked.
And changed by extention WHO got to influence
the course of history as musical notables.
You may say, well they just were musicians.
But think of the difference between music
that resonated with Korean war soldiers
and that for the Viet Nam era soldiers.
A seas change in style, content and instrumentation.
The main difference in most cases is the Fender equipment somewhere in the loop,
and the advanced, societally observing, musicians playing it.
Yeah Leo's lab in the Smithsonian, quite appropriate. _________________ DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

It had to be his G&L office. It wasn't his Fender office, and that's obviously a G&L guitar on the desk. |
