| was wondering if anyone has a good digital(mp3) version of conway twitty's version of "dim lights, thick smoke and loud, loud music" they could share via email. appreciate it. c. |

I thought so. Didn't John Hughey join Conway in 1969? So this one comes from the "pre-John Hughey era"...

| Walter, the era from 1964 to 1968 was a transitional period for Conway while he was re-establishing himself as a country artist. I quit full-time music in 1964 for a career with the Oklahoma City Fire Department and could no longer keep up with the out of town travel, then Lew worked for Conway until he hired John in 1968. |

I was lucky enough to get to save the "Working Girl" video of Conways. It had Lew Houston on steel and has about the same ride on it. Great player! Hi Gene! Ray

| If I'm not mistaken, "Dim Lights, Thick Smoke And Loud Loud Music" was the "B" side of Conway's "The Image Of Me"..does anyone know if this is, indeed, correct? |
