I new a person who they called Jock , I asked him about this as he was English not Scottish as you would think but he said the name Jock was short for Jockstrap . I didn't get it until he told me his real name , Richard Holder .

Back with Tammy, the guitar player, David Sloas, and I had a discussion about this. I said, "What is it with so many nicknames with steel players? Rusty, Sonny, Wimpy, Buddy, Smiley... maybe I should have one?" David said, "I think you should go with Slimey Dickster."
I didn't. _________________ Mikey D... H.S.P.

Robert Randolph. Bet I could draw a crowd, just couldn't hold 'em. Folks used to call me 'Tater', I don't know why they quit. |

Two band names I've always wanted to use:
a) A six-piece jazz group, with the leader dressed in semi-military garb, called 'Major Seven and the Flat Five'. (Of course, we'd all be dressed to the 9's)
b) A kid's swing band, where we dress in khaki's and pith helmets, called 'Jungle Jim and the Swing Set'.

Back in the day, anytime a club owner asked me to sign a check to get paid it was " Slim Seeds". |

I want to be "Bill D. House."
I wanted a band called "Nocturnal Solution."
John Billings
You should name your band "Geezer" and have Abe simpson as your mascot.

I'd like to be known as Big Harry Butz. I'd call my band The Crackers, or The Midnight Emissions. When I played with Methyl Ethyl and The Ketones, I did use the name Plastos Klutchem. Of course, now that I'm old, I should start a geriatric band called "Overripe!" |

How about "Sage Busch", "Ronaldo Beach", "Waylon Onya", or "N. Veen O'Veritas" (I think he's an Irish-Italian).
