....on our local NPR station WFPK 91.9. Sunday bluegrass each Sun. nite from 8 'til 11 EST. BG, both traditional and current, traditional country and old time country hosted by Berk Bryant, the Country Gentleman. He was the only one I know of that played Porter's music in tribute to his life as well as Hank Thompson. Odd that you have to go to public radio to hear any real country. Sad

If you want to hear an hour of country [9:30 to 10:30] like it used to be with steel guitar in it's formative years, tune in about 9:30 pm. The pioneers can be heard at their best here.

Try this link and select the audio format of your choice from the WFPK 91.9 box.

Hope it works and hope you enjoy it. Right now, they're playing You're the Reason our Kids are Ugly Whoa!

FYI, the country segment is @ 9:30 the 2nd Sunday of the month for those particularly interested in that.

Just heard Eddie Arnold with some beautiful steel work, Johnny and Jack, Hank Snow with some steel and dobro pioneers. Click the link above if interested.
