If anyone is planning on releasing a recording or re-releasing some old material previously unreleased on CD, I run a full service CD mastering facility in St. Louis called Angelfish Mastering. I generally handle the region's rock, jazz, rap, etc., but being a steel player and fanatic, I'd love to help out anyone needing to release steel related recordings. I've noticed many steel albums getting released and not enough attention was paid to the mastering process. My rates are reasonable, especially for steel stuff. I can do high resolution transfers from analog reels or I can take your digital mixes and prepare them for release. Email me for rates and booking. Ask Scotty what he thinks of the remastering job on his "Keepin It Country, Almost" album.

Peace,

Brad Sarno

Thanks for the tip, Brad. I'd highly recommend that anyone who's considering a new project have their mix professionally mastered. Even a home recording can come out sounding amazing with the right mix and good mastering.
