My first Emmons push pull was an early '70's S10. It had a "fatback", satin finished, walnut colored, mica body. Besides having the legendary Emmons Original tone, it had some peculiarities:
1. The pedal/knee lever configuration was 6p/2k; the first pedal lowered the
second string to a C# without a half-stop. Pedals 2, 3, and 4 were the
typical "Emmons" setup. Pedals 5 and 6 raised strings one and seven to
G#. The knee levers were E's to D# (RKL) and E's to F (RKR). Here' s the
peculiarity: The knee levers were teardrop-shaped like a Sho~Bud.
2. The other pecularity is, the Emmons Guitar company didn't seem to have
any record of the serial number, which was 1184.
Does anyone on the forum own this guitar or know who owns it? I'm just curious to find out where it's been since I sold it, in 1993.
Keep on pickin'!

A little clarification about my last post: I didn't sell the guitar, exactly. It was part of a purchase/trade-in deal I made when I bought my Sierra S14. Tom Baker also got my Gibson Electraharp in the deal. I think Tom kept the Gibson, but more than likely, the Emmons was resold. Anyhow, I'm just curious where the Emmons "lives" these days... I should'a never let that guitar go...
Keep on pickin'!
