My swing band, Beats Walkin', will be appearing on the nationally syndicated radio show, Kids Corner, this coming Friday night, April 19, from 7-8pm Eastern time. For those of you in the Delaware valley area you can tune in on 88.5FM. Or you can hear it live over the internet at www.xpn.org . We'll be playing tunes from our new CD, "Bop-a-billy Swing!"

Apologies to those who may have tried to tune in this show tonite. I was stuck in an airplane in Pittsburgh on the tarmac for over 5 hours, due to bad weather, trying to get home for the show. Finally they ended up cancelling the flight because the work day had exceeded the allowable limit for the flight crew and we had to fend for ourselves to get another flight home. So... I was supposed to arrive at 3:30pm and got in at 10pm! Fortunately, I was in cellphone contact with the producer of the show, so he knew what was happening and could make other plans.

We will be rescheduling for a Friday night in May, and I'll post the new date here. Meanwhile, hope to see some of you in Alexandria, VA this Sunday for Steelin' for Hearts.
