Well guys and gals, I've been bustin' at the seams since last night to put this post on and I didn't want to "steel" anyone else's thunder, but I can't take it anymore!!!!!
Congratulations to Mr. Larry Bell and Mr. Leonard T. Zinn on their induction into the Michigan Steel Guitar Hall of Fame!!!!!!!
I can't think of two nicer guys or anyone more deserving of this honor, and I'm proud to call both of them my buddies.
Thanks for all you've done over the years, and my sincere wishes for many more years of picking from the both of you!

Yes, I also want to say congratulations Larry and L.T.!! Both of you are indeed exemplary steelers, outstanding musicians, and great guys as well. Michigan's steel guitar community is extremely proud of both of you and of your accomplishments. We rejoice with you on your inductions to the MSGHOF.
Was the Grand Rapids MI show April 5-6-7 a great weekend or what? I sure thought it was! What a good show and what a wonderful time of down-to-earth fellowship.

L. T. and I love all of you and thank you, more than you'll ever know, for being there at the show and supporting us the way you do.
Hope we can do it again, next year. Evelyn and L. T.

WOW!!! What a show. Gets bigger and better every time. Thanks to all the staff for my invitation.
All the proper and correct words have been said about L.T. and Larry. And to have Jerry Byrd and Speedy on the phone during the ceremony was just outstanding. To hear those two give accolades for the hall of fame inductees was so good. This is one well produced and coordinated show.
Congratulations to L.T. and Larry.
I was particularly impressed by the recognition for Larry in his work on the promotion of the single neck tuning concept for the E9/B6 system. His playing personifies this also.
Congratulations to both L.T. Zinn & Larry Bell.
Thanks for a great show!
Looking forward to next year.

Leonard and Larry,
Congratulations. It's wonderful to see two people take such different paths, yet arrive in the same place - being recognized for bringing so much to our steel guitar community.
Both of your awards were the real highlight of the weekend.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts and words. I don't have the right words to express my gratitude. L.T. and Evelyn, Frank, Danny, and all the others who make the show and the Hall of Fame tick are the ones to be congratulated. I was just in the right place at the right time (I guess -- I'm still not sure what I did to deserve this honor)
My Michigan buddies, Al and Tim (among others) are always there with a smile and an encouraging word. It's an honor to share the stage with Rob -- what a talented gentleman. Having players like David and Mr. Bill acknowledge my humble efforts puts the icing on the cake.
And Mark ssssshhhhhhhhhhhh! (you know me better than they do. )

Barbara and I would like to thank Evelyn, L.T. Zinn and Frank Rogers for having us at the Michigan Hall Of Fame show. We had a great time and the show was super. So many great players and I had the honor of being on stage with all of them. This was a "class" show, produced by some very wonderful, caring people who worked very hard and who deserve a big "thank you" from all of us who were invited to the show. Thanks again for a great time.

I've got to learn how to use this forum all over again. I have been away quite a while.
The show at Grand Rapids was fantastic. Evelyn and L.T. have proven that they can really put together a super steel show.
Thanks, Evelyn, for reminding me of your show so I didn't miss it this year. Sure was great to see some old friends from my home state and get a chance to listen to Frank Rogers and the rest of the band.
