| I was informed when I purchased mine (now Chris Boyds and boy do I miss it!) that Paul Beard does not allow discounts on his guitars from any of his dealers, so the list price is the selling price.. |

I paid $3,000 for a "like new" model E last summer and have since noticed a few that sold for that amount. There are a lot of fine resophoics being built, some command more, some a bit less, I've only played one other Beard Model E, they seem to be consistant in tone and quality, and worth every bit of $3000.

| Used Beard Maple or Mahogany E's consistently sell for $2800 - $3000 used. Downside risk buying one in that range is almost nil should you decide to sell later. I bought a used Maple E last year for $2600 (from a VERY motivated seller) and later sold it on Ebay for $2850. Wish I still had it, but bills had to be paid. I've never seen another E body for a price that low. This one is a solid buy. |
