Hi Evelyn- You got a great lineup there. I wouldn't mind playing some of the pop , big band songs of the 40' and 50's, on Friday night. But I can't make it.
But will see you both Saturday and Sunday, the good Lord willing......al [This message was edited by Al Marcus on 14 February 2002 at 07:19 PM.] |

I hope you will come and meet my son Dennis as he hopes he can make it.
No kidney dialysis on Saturday and Sunday, for him.
I'm excited about the show. Why travel all over the country, when we bring the show right here to you in Michigan?? |

We will miss him at our show this year, but know he'll be having a great time in Hawaii.
Hey Jack, tell Jerry Evelyn Whitney and L T Zinn send best wishes. |

If any of you know Billy Vann, I would like to get in touch with him. He is my Dad's Sister's son. I met him when I was about 5 years old and didn't know he was a steel player until I started about 31 years ago. No one in my family knows how to get in touch with him.

Folks, this is one great show. Their Saturday afternoon "Lounge" session is most unique. No other steel show does this program and it is quite nice. Evelyn can tell you all about it, I bet.
I am always thrilled to be invited to this show. And very glad to hear their own Frank Rogers and his most excellent style of playing on his pedal steel and lead guitar work.
Jack Byrd, please give my regards to Jerry-- and you will be missed--and envied, with your trip to be with the greatest steel guitar artist that has ever been and ever will be!!
Thanks for the invitation L.T. Zinn and Evelyn Whitney. Looking forward to this one very much.

Hello Evelyn,
My wife and I have booked a room at the Hilton. We are really looking forward to the convention.
However, I have one question to ask!
Do we buy the tickets for the show at the door or do we have to reserve them in advance?
Thank you! Bob Taillefer |

It looks like this just might be one of our best shows yet. With the line up we have this year, it's a sure thing. Jerry Brightman, Gary Morse, John Hughey, YES! No doubt about it, we're going to have the time of our lives this year, and we have some nice surprises in the works as well!!
Jerry, it looks like I'll be lucky enough to have my new CD in time for the Texas show, and I'll see you there for sure. |

Hey there Jerry, my other son,
You just watch out for L. T. you never know what he's thinking. If you are on the stage with him he'll have something cooked up. So very glad you will be with us once again, this year. We love your playing and also, the man that you are.
Jim, we feel honored to have you here this year. Jump on in with the rest of these playful guys and we'll have a great weekend.
Danny, thanks for all of your help. I'll be leaning on you some more, before this is over. Frank's C D may be ready, too. If not for our show, then for the TX shindig.
I'm very busy now working out a million details for the show. See you all there.

Jerry. By the way... I did a TV show in Grand Rapids with LT this past Monday, and believe me when I tell you, LT has his dancing shoes on already. Heck, I even got him to hum a few bars of Cold Cold Heart, and it's on the tape. |

Hi Evelyn. Thanks for the complements. It's always a pleasure working with LT, and I had a great time doing the television promo with him. I'm honored to be part of the line up again this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing everybody again in April.
You've got some real super talent lined up for the Michigan H.O.F. Convention, and it looks like this is going to be one of our best years yet! I can hardly wait! |

just email me and I'll give you Bill Vann's address.
We inducted him into the Michigan Steel Guitar Hall of Fame 2 years ago, due largely to his stint with the Green Valley Boys here in Kazoo. Evelyn[This message was edited by Evelyn Whitney on 10 March 2002 at 07:10 PM.] |

Just made my reservations today.
This is my third year at this excellent event.
Different hotel each time, I wonder if they're trying to loose me.
