I have decided on the song list for my country rock CD (Ready late spring).

I could have done one or two more CDs and still not covered all the tunes I would have liked to have done, but there's always the "Down The Road" factor.

Here's the list. I feel good about the final selection. Thanks so much for all the input I received.

Poco– Heart Of The Night
Poco - Bad Weather
Poco – You Better Think Twice
Poce – Magnolia

Jackson Browne / Eagles – Take It Easy
Eagles – Lyin’ Eyes
Eagles – Peaceful Easy Feeling

NRPS – She’s No Angel
NRPS – Kick In The Head
NRPS – I Don’t Need No Doctor

Crosby, Stills, & Nash - Teach Your Children
Pure Prairie League - Fallin’ In And Out Of Love/ AMY

If there are any who wonder why I didn't include the Burrito Brothers, I've already done a tribute CD to Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman.

For the millions of people out there who don't buy and listen to my CDs, this message is not for you.

For the few who do, I just want to assure you that I'll be back to doing more country projects in the near future. I know some of you only like country music, but country rock is often more country than rock, so give it a chance.

Look's great. I'm going to have to get me one of those CD's when they come out.

Hey Mike,
Great choices for your new country rock CD....I'm sure it's way down the road with how busy you are but can I put in a tab request for these new tunes at some point? Thanks and keep the great tunes coming.

Jeff,

There's a real good possibility that I'll be doing a tab book for this CD later. I don't know just how I'll handle it, as there will be several songs containing sections which will be played on a Sneaky Pete tuning, and there will also be some Pedabro on a couple of tunes. Of course, those parts could easily be adapted to standard E9. I actually had to do some of that in the tab book for "Steels On Wheels" and everyone seems to be fine with it.

Mike, so the copedent for SoW is mostly Sneaky Pete's?

Hey Mike,
Another good song a steel guitar adds to is
The Weight that came from that era too.
