OK, folks, it's time to play that game again: Name the Mystery Jazz Steeler!

Here's how,

Visit www.SteelGuitarJazz.com and click on the left for the 'Listening Library'. Listen to the first song clip shown, then click the link there to come back here and vote for who you think it is. Simple? Sure, it is!

Oh, and while you're there, have a look around the site. We've added some new Video Clips by Jeff Lampert that have some of the best close-up hand shots on C6 you'll liable to see anywhere.

OK, ready? set? Go! www.SteelGuitarJazz.com

I don't think its Buddy. Buddy's more of a groove guy with tighter technique and rarely uses pedals in this manner to play single note stuff on C6.
I think I hear the added middle D in the tunning, so Im going with Terry.

I'm more familiar with Koos and Terry, but you're right it could be Jim (Loessberg).

If it isn't Buddy then I'd say it's either Loessberg or Terry Crisp but to my ears that's definitely Buddy's style for playing jazz that's being copied either way.
The drummer on this track is real swinging. Good shtuff.

Of course, there's no reason I couldn't dig out an old clip to post; not saying I did or I didn't this time, but I could have! Wink
