David, what kind of work does your Semi need? I added three knee levers to one, and did numerous other updates. It made a very nice little guitar. I don't have time to work on guitars for anyone else, but I might could offer a little advice.
Btw, here's a couple of pics of the one I updated.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

Who do you think could work on it, since you don't have the time.
I will send you an email with pictures about the things I think need working on, if you don't mind?

I am having my MSA U12 with 7&5 being re-worked by JimFlynn at Lone star steel guitars, my girl friend will play it, I have photo's but do not know how to upload them here, maybe Jim Flynn could download them here. |

Well just got news that Jim is updating my MSA U12 to a 3raise 3lower changer system, this is a MSA classic U12, maybe he can post pictures here of it. |

You might try Billy Cooper at Billy Cooper's Music, Orange, Virginia. Click on the "Links" at the top of this page, the click on "Vendors." Then click on Bill Cooper's Music. He is fairly close to you and operates a steel guitar store with a repair shop full time. Good luck with it. My first pedal steel was an MSA Semi-Classic. I played it with only one knee lever for 20 years...

Dave, I've done a lot of work on MSA guitars here for many guys. Let me know what you're wanting to do to it. |
