My Emmons LeGrand II tuners have become very stiff and difficult to turn. Can I lube them or is there an adjustment. I dearly love this guitar and don't want to damage it.

Thanks...Charlie P Confused

Mine were like that on the gray guitar in the picture here. I loosened the screw up just a tiny bit (not enough to fall out) and they got better. You might try that and see if it helps your guitar.

Charlie,
I have had the same problem before and there are a few things you can do.
This is just my suggestion, and you can do as you please. First loosen the screw on top of the key and see if that helps. I have lubed them before and it seemed to help, but I would use only a drop of oil. Also where the tuner shaft goes through the key head it will bind against the key head from the string tension. With the strings off, put a drop of oil on the shaft where it goes through the key head. This is metal against metal and can bind up. Hope this helps.
