Could someone send me a picture of the underside of their GFI that has a V knee lever. I am thinking of adding it my self and want to see how it goes in. I can't afford the down time of sending my steel off to the factory.
Thanks
Bill

I can get you some pic's this evening, Bill.
I just took a quick look, and can tell you that it won't be too difficult to do. |

Bill, Here are some photos
Bill, in the center of this picture,(above) you will see a cross rod that will need to be in position, along with 3 bellcranks. It is the shaft directly in front of LKR (pedal 5) (where the flash glare is)
Now, look where the grey strap where LKL is mounted.
The bracket for the V lever is positioned 3/4 of an inch to the back (farside),and 5 1/4 inches from the grey strap on the tuning peg head end to the nearest point of the V lever bracket.
GFI should be able to give you a complete inventory of the parts, and rods that you'll need.
If I can help you further, call me at (615) 618 0776 |

They installed one on mine at the factory and I had it back within a week round trip. 6 days I believe. It might be worth the wait. |
