I already have the Franklin on pedal 4 on my Royal Precision. I'd kinda like the standard pedal 4 C6 changes also. Would this be too much for one pedal? 5 pulls in all.

Michael it certainly will make it a harder action. What I have done is add an extra pedal 9, and moved my whole C6th setup to the right one step. This keeps pedal 4 as E9th only.

Both my Carter and Milli M3 are setup that way. No problem at all. Like Paddy said, its a tic harder but no big deal.

My Lashley LeGrande is set up that way and it works fine. My JCH was also set up that way as well as having as many as six pulls across both necks on both the seventh and eighth pedals. They were perhaps slightly more stiff than the other pedals but, if so, it was a minimal amount.

I've heard it recommended against but I sure haven't found it to be a problem.

Thanks, fellas. Love this forum. I need a few other things from the good people at Mullen so I believe I'll order up a couple extra rods/bellcranks and give it a whirl.
