Smile I was usaly the band leader.I listened to ideas,but still did it my way.Must have worked because we always booked better than most others.
I've worked as a side man quite a bit and found a few band leaders that should have taken up some other form of ocupation,but most of them were OK. Smile PJ

WorkED [ONE]and only[ONE]time with a bass player-band leader,He was absolutely SURE Crazy,was a three chord song,That Ackey Breakey was the best song every written,tried to sing Four Walls in 4/4 time,Ask me to play an instrumental,Forgot what I was going to play,but told him it had an f sharp in it,He quickly informed me,[THE BASS DOES NOT HAVE AN F SHARP ON IT ]The only good thing about that night,He DID pay me pretty good.DYKBC.
