I bought an Emmons 3+1 guitar with a very good tone. I cannot find on the net the Pedal and Knee tuning procedure. If you have it or can point me to a link, I will appreciate it. I think this is a student model as it don't have a raised neck, but what a tone. I need to get this guitar playable.

James, here is a link that may give you some info to get you started. You didn't say if your guitar was a Push-Pull or All-Pull.....there IS a different way of tuning each. This video is for an All-Pull type.

Jim,
Try this site. The folks at Carter have a lot of great information online.

http://www.steelguitarinfo.com/adjustments/tuneitup.html

This will give you a quick run down on how to tune both an all pull guitar and a Push/Pull guitar.
Hope this helps,
Cheers!!
