...does that mean they're reunited, or is it just Johnny marketing himself as Santo & Johnny ?

They are being billed as Santo & Johnny which to me means the both of them. It is at Cox Arena put on by Art Labow on Feb 15 08 It is located at 5500 Canyon Crest Dr. San Diego Calif 92182 at 7:30 PM. It is called LOVE Fest and will have many other acts that same night. Ticket start at 30.75 to 50.47 The Phone number is 619-594-6947

Is this billing correct ?

Yes - at this time they are listed. That could change at any time without notice though...

FALSE ALARM:

This ad is from Johnny Farina's MySpace page:

The venue or the promoter must have screwed up the advertising... or maybe it was intentional?

This is just one more example of the continuing confusion surrounding Santo & Johnny - Johnny Farina. It doesn’t help that Johnny’s web site address is santoandjohnny.com. Rolling Eyes

Hi Basil,

I appreciate this information. We advertise what is given to us by our promoter, Live Nation as well as the radio station, 92.5. If you wish to take this up with them, please feel free to do so. I would hope they are aware of this, but perhaps not!

Do you notice that on their album covers there is no mention of "steel guitar" or "Hawaiian guitar" ? The predominant image seems to be a woman against a background, typically a beach. Only on one cover does a steel guitar appear, and on one it has been intentionally blanked out, so you can't see what Santo is leaning on.
