Since many folks wrote to ask me when a particular player may be playing this coming Jamboree, I just updated the TSGA Jamboree webpage to list the performers scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Sunday's lineup will be posted this Monday.

Especially check out Saturday afternoon's performances of the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame Performers, and the Induction of the newest Hall of Famers.

Then the Saturday night show with the Tennessee boys will surely be awesome, followed by the 2-hour show and dance with the Time Warp Tophands and Tom Morrell.

Of course, nothing is written in stone since things do come up. But the TSGA has been pretty good about staying on schedule and running an organized show!

Hi Herb,

I for one, am looking very forward to attending this show. The shows reputation precedes it and it is certainly one of the top shelf, first class organizations in regards to steel shows and the promotion
of the instrument.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hello Herb,
I also am looking forward to the Dallas show and getting a chance to hear your set. By the way, our friend, Wayne Yakes, gave me a copy of a recent Johnny Bush recording of "I'll Never Be Free." I recognized your playing immediately. Were you using the Bigsby steel on that one? Did Speedy West play on the original Ernie Ford recording? Hope all is well, Herb.

Is anyone else having a problem getting on the TSGA website? Whenever I click the link, whether it's in this thread or through "links", I get an error messege. This is not occuring on anything else that I click on. Perhaps I should pay my dues?

Try the URL directly:

and see if you get there by cutting and pasting.
