I want to build a 6 string lap steel with some palm and/or foot pedals.
I have a Telecaster with a hipshot B and g bender on it. I play it in standard tuning on a stand, like a lap and it's limited. I love it, but I want to build
a lap with more bending options, either pedals or palm levers. Like the Duesenberg in the video. Finding parts in Australia is near impossible without a good machine shop and a fat wallet!
Any suggestions on where to source parts?

p.s. of course i could (and probably will) buy a Duesenberg when they arrive, but I have been planning this for some time and have a nice piece of Mahogany for the job.
