It's not a copy , it fixes under the top lip so there are no damage done to the front of the amp , I made the same fix for an old amp with the same problem many years ago, I will be changing it to a Perspex in the near future , Also the cardboard box that the amp came in is used upside down and covered with Duck tape and has a hardboard panel fitted inside to insure that it is protected from damage when been transported, very cheap and lightweight ...

It sure doesn't look as nice as Jim's KnobGuard. Mine has saved me a bunch of $$ in repairs. _________________ Bo Borland

It cost $1.00 to make and does the same job..
anyway as the amp is behind me I don't relly care what it looks like as long as it works.. |

Do you mean a box tube piece of aluminium with an odd angle is a copy, I picked it up down at the double glazing recycling plant today. just polished it up and
$ 60 bucks better off..... |

And by the way I have had so many request as to how i made the MDF version I should be a rich man if I charged them, I will give my fellow steel players the knowhow to save them a few bucks and free them from over priced goods ..... |
