Ok. Other than a steel and an amp what other components should 1 have to start playing on stage? I understand this is going to be under the category of opinions, but i need a setup.. Any thoughts on this would be helpful!

That's it to start, besides picks, a bar, and a volume pedal.

FWIW...When you hear a good/great sounding rig, don't rush out and buy one just like it without listening to a few others, and talking to someone thats "been there, done that"

What you need and what you think you need are likely two different things.

I know players who use 10 different "devices", and even if 300 players told them they didn't need all that stuff, they'd probably still use it.

I gotta agree. Even though some people play with fingertips and some play without a volume pedal, I can't perform well without picks or a volume pedal. Everything else (effects, etc.) is just for fun.

I just use Steel , amp, and volume. I do have a RV3 and a PE Jr for organ effect, but almost never use them.....al.SmileSmile
