Fellow Steelers and Forumites,

I have just received an e-mail from Mr. Carl Johnson, 'Bluemmons' and he said that the Backing Track for his material is going to the duplicater and will be available by e-mailing him. Just go to his post. Many of you have asked for these backing tracks and I hope you will take this oppertunity to contact and get to know this Cortez, Colorado steel guitar player. As his Youtube videos so rightly attest, and I believe, is as good as any. So e-mail him, I don't believe you will be disapointed.

If you have already received Part 1&2 of Bluemmons E9th Blues Tab, I have aready tried to email you with this offering, but a few were returned unanswered/undelivered. If you did not hear from me, contact Carl Johnson.

Thank you,
Dick Sexton

I have completed Part 1&2 and will be sending them out shortly.

Again, if you have not, please check out BLUEMMONS on You Tube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVxZn0wdfJg&feature=related

Part 2!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uC-bx9cISUU

In Part 2, Mr. Johnson uses advanced techniques that you may not know.

If you e-mail me, I will e-mail you back with the MS Word document. It prints out as 9 pages and is yours for the asking. It was my pleasure to have done it. Dick Sexton

Carl, you bet. That is if I get it. I should have said blues and "Speed Picking" lesson. It's mostly over my head & capabilities, but I'll do my best. I've figured out how to get it into the Amazing Slow Downer, so it now looks possible. Just going real slow. Again, thanks for posting it on You Tube. DS

Thanks Ken,the real name of that song is "Here's That Rainy Day" When Buddy Emmons plays it it brings tears to my eyes because it's so pretty, when I play it it brings tears to my eyes cause it's so sad.I recorded it on my digital recorder with a whole bunch of takes and punches several years ago and haven't played it sense. The name of the other tune is "Love Letters in the Sand". The guy that did the web site didn't know the names to the songs so he just made up the names. Carl

I just got an E-mail from Mr. Carl Johnson with a Youtube link to the SECOND HALF OF THE BLUES. Part 2, Again Wow, Shocked I'll get started on it today. Anyone who has gotten the tab of the first half, I sent out over 50, will be sent the second half without asking unless you e-mail me and say you don't want it. The first half was awsome, the second is over the top and will be more of a challange to tab out, but I'll geterdone. Just please be patient, it will come. Here is the YT link, believe me, you don't want to miss this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uC-bx9cISUU
