Too cool! I love looking at old ads and catalogs. Makes me want a Soft Shell Economo Keratol case -- they're only 6 bucks!

Hi Michael

Thanks for the info on these instruments. I've had both a Supro comet and airline model for years and didn't even know what they were! However this hasn't stopped me from playing and enjoying them.

Thank you so much for the pictures, I see now that what I think I have is a "1425B Console Eight". I was told it was a Supro Comet?

It's hard to tell the difference from the pictures between the console 8 and the Airline (8 string)
I see the information on the Console Eight says "fast action HI/LOW switch"

Mine has a tone control bypass switch between the Volume and tone knobs I think that what they call it... Anyone have more information out there?

Thanks
Dom Very Happy

Interesting that you have the "buy me cat"

This is an asian thing in many stores,
some feel tat it encourages sales.
Many of them are now in gold plastic with a bit of red,
and the raised arm moves forward and down
with battery power, all day long.

Cool amps,
I wonder what the amp schematics look like.
Get me a 'Royal Reverb' please.
The guitars look like
low end Fenders crossed with Teiscos Delrays
