Could somebody tell me what does the black box actually do as I heard a lot .about it I have never heard one just wondering how does it improve your steel sound.Thanking you Francis.

Francis, it hard to explain, the topĀ“s are cleaner and no harshness and there is a much cleaner sound all round. Once you use you could not go back to not having one... there are a few topics on this on the forum..do a search for black box or BB

I brought home Jack Conyer's, I could not hear enough difference to spend the money, ansn liked it very much and told me to buy one.
Some people like it some cannot hear the subtle difference, some players after trying it will not play without it.
I bought a MIC 200, I can adjust it to where I can hear the better sound. It came from Mucions Friend for $49.00, it does what the black box does but more, for less money.
