I would suspect it would be Mike Smith -- in which case, you'll get your moneys worth. He posts here from time to time -- maybe he will chime in. I'd love to hear Mike play again -- it's been many years and he's one of my all time favorites. I stole MANY licks from him in years gone by.

Spoke with Mike last night. He is not on this tour. Don't know who is, though.

They were just here a couple of weeks ago, with Glenn Campbell at Rock Crusher Canyon Ampitheatre (Crystal River, Fl). There wasn't any mention of a steel player in the show review.

Man !!! What a bummer that would be ! I sent a couple of e-mails to them and their web site asking about a steel player in Branson. As great as they are, I'd be sorely disappointed if they didn't carry a steel there and might consider staying home.

Hey all,

I just posted a reply to Bill on another topic board, but yeah, I'm not doing the Christmas tour this year. My wife and I both toured for the last few years with Larry (without the Brothers)and I've been doing some of the current Reunion shows, but besides working with a few local bands in Phoenix, she and I are putting together our own corporate group.

Scott Neubert will be playing steel (and I think guitar and other stuff) on this tour and I understand he's a great musician. He toured with "The Civil War" this last season with Larry.

We just setup a website for our company (Gatlin Brothers Music) and although it's very basic right now, I'm trying to cram in new info (including links to Larry and also all three brothers). Hopefully it will look better in the coming weeks and months, but the site is www.gatlinbros.com

I've got info about the company as well as dates I'm working.

Mike
