I'll be at the Kings Theater in Wildwood, Fl Friday evening with the Billy Cook show. The show starts at 7PM and is all traditional county.

Wildwood is at the junction of I75 and the Florida Turnpike, about an hour north of Orlando.

Since posting this half an hour ago I have gotten several nasty emails. This was a Sunshine State Parkway JOKE (hence the ha,ha and eek). I certainly ment no disrespect to Mr. Stoner or the city of Wildwood.

To us native Floridians (granted there ain't many of us) the exits of Yeehaw Junction and Wildwood along with the "Orange Balls" were famous "pit stops" along the turnpike - welcome relief.....

Last time I attempt humor!

Sorry Jack - wish I could hear you there!!!!

rick, you "keep a goin'" with the humour. it ain't your fault some folks don't "get it".

BTW love your cuts (Yours too Jack. ) on tprior's Live365.com "Unknown" show.Listening to Tiare no Tahiti as I type. you have an intense vibrato!

Rick, no problem. I just got to read it but I thought it was funny.

I just got back from doing a gig at Catfish Johnny's in Lake Panasoffkee.

For those that don't get it, they get a free night at the motel in Okahumpka

I guess I was alittle homesick for Fl... saw Wildwood and it brought back alot of memories (travelin' from home to Gatorville)or should I say flashbacks

Dave, I was alittle afraid to send those songs into T Prior but since I have been postin' here I thought to myself "put up or shut up"... The stuff I have sent JB over the years has had pretty good reviews from him - he gave this bit of work a "Too Aggressive" - I was tryin' to play it the way I "hear it in my head". I continue to work very hard on cleanin' it up but I do favor a "non-subtle" vibrato. I just wish I was more musical...

Jack, have fun in Wildwood and beware of those flowers

Joe, we might get some jobs over that way. Billy Cook lives just down the road from you. He lives just north of 50 (turn at the street just before the Suncoast Parkway going east from your place).
