This Fender Active Jazz Bass is in absolutely new condition along with the most desired, rosewood neck. I took it on a trade for another guitar, just to help a friend, and I don't even play bass. This guitar still has the plastic over the rear active plate, and it does not even have one small scratch on it that I can see. In other words, this guitar has not been played or handled more than a few hours at most, and that was only at my friends home. The guitar was $650 new with it's gig bag. I will sacrifice the sell of this guitar for $475 + shipping just to re-coupe my money out of the other guitar. First response gets this great deal on a great Fender Bass Guitar.

As I explained above to Jeff; As I was informed about this guitar, it's American parts assembled in Mexico. However, some other guitars are Mexico parts and Mexico assembly, and some are American parts assembled in America. For the money you can't go wrong at this price, it's a lot less than half what an American parts & assembly guitar cost. This guitar plays great and sounds great. If you buy it and don't like it in a day or two I'll give you your money back (minus the shiping of course, and providing it comes back in the same condition it leaves in. No belt-buckles or coat zippers against it).

Allen,

Thanks for the honest prompt reply. I'm no bass expert, and am in the process of doing some research and investigating. For someone like me to make a decision on a Bass would be like a Bass player making a decision on a PSG, and having no knowledge nor ever played a PSG. I can't be anymore honest then that. A good friend of mine, Bryant Linthicum, is helping me too. I may end up buying your bass, and hopefully you'll sell it before I decide. It certainly is beautiful.

Anyway... it's been a pleasure either way.
