I know Thom had been having some serious medical problems recently. For the last two weeks I haven't been able to contact him (either by email or phone) regarding a seat order.

Does anyone know how he's doing?

It's been kind of quiet in Thom's corner (which is quite unusual) of late. The last I heard from LuAnn was that Thom was home but still on an IV.
He can sure use our prayers. Very Happy

I just talked to Luann, Thom's wife. Thom is back in the hospital. I just talked to him by phone at the hospital. He sounds chipper and is hoping to get out in a few days. As usual, talk turned to guitars and players and steel shows etc.

He also asked that I tell the folks that have ordered his seat that it will be awhile (maybe January) before he can get them finished. If anyone wants out, Luann will return any deposits.

Let's keep Thom and Luann in our prayers; it sure seems to work.

FYI: Thom called. He is still pretty weak from his medical issues, but sounded like his same old self.

Hopefully he'll be up and running relatively soon.

Thom, the family here at Steeler's Choice wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you in Dallas. I know how hard it is to play "catch-up" in the pac-seat business, especially when you're trying to heal. Hang in there. See you soon, Dan Rollans

I guess I'll have to chime in here.
The last I heard, it doesn't look too good for brother Thom.
His body is trying to reject his transplanted liver. The transplant was done 7 years ago . In order for Thom to have a chance at recovery, he will need a new liver. However, the doctors have discovered sooooo much scar tissue from the previous transplant that they don't know if a new operation is possible.
Thom really needs our prayers and he is espcecially requesting prayer for his wife, LuAnne. Thom is ready to meet his Savior but he is worried about LuAnne being left alone.
Thom is such a great guy so this is really a very sad situation.

Dear Thom, I will be praying for you. I hope God gives you the strength to pull through. I am looking forward to seeing you in Dallas and taking you to dinner. I have not forgotten your kindness. I think of you every time I sit on the seat you built for me, it is the best I have ever used by far. You are loved by so many. Bev and I will keep praying for you, God can do wonders.
