Great to see shots of Benny Kalama, Sonny Kamahele, and JB, as well as many others whom have sailed on.

Also interesting were the Haleku' shots of Bobby Ingano and BB Shawn Ishamoto. This was Shawn's first stage presentation on steel guitar which he had only picked up within a month, and typically, he did quite well. For those who don't know, he's blind.

Why I never made it. Always sleeping at the wheel (guitar)Crying or Very sad
What I am actually doing is laying this Bakelite Rickenbacher steel on my lap to get it adjusted to the heat of my lap before my performance. This way it holds it tuning. If I take it up cold for the performance and lay it on my lap, out of tune it goes. Thus the strategy.
I do not see many do this, but I do. What about some of you other steelers, do you ever do this?

Nice pictures and nice memories, Gerald. Thanks for taking the time to post them.

Aloha, Smile
Don
