how many of you have caught the flu thats going round ?

my wife and i both have had it this past week but are starting to see signs of recovering from it
i haven't even felt like touching the steel for the past week

Sorry to hear you have the flu. I had a small cold but the flu shot has kept me good so far.

My wife and I have been getting annual flu shots every year for at least 10 years now. I can't remember the last time either of us have had the nasty bug. Both of us are around lots and lots of people every day (I work at a bank and she works at a school) and I have to think that those shots are doing their job.

i'm one of those people that only gets a cold every 5-6 years, i almost never get sick, so when i get even a mild cold it seems like a whopper to me haha

There must be something good about this flue jab all our family have had this bug except me and im the only one that had the flu jab and i cried like a baby , well not realy but i did feel brave .

Hey Calvin,hope you get to filling better,that stuff is rough,better get that flu shot next year,I used to get the flu every year,about 10 years ago started getting the shot,have'nt[knock on wood] had it since.DYKBC.

I was sick as a dog on NYE but I had to play and get through it. I'm feeling much better now. Hope you heal fast Calvin!

since my oncologist has been giving me yearly flu shots, i haven't had it either...but i did get a pretty good cold for a few days this year.
