Hello Everyone,

Here is another sound clip of some adlib slow blues that I recorded tonight. This song is performed on the new lapsteel #7 that I have just finished. Its just called slowblues and you will find it here:

www.myspace.com/ozziebluesman

The guitar is going to a new home tomorrow as a gift for my best mate.

The lapsteel was recorded straight into my Zoom MRS4 recorder through a Boss Blues Driver just to add a little bit of grit. Just how I like it!!!!! Then copied to the computer and a little reverb added. I have also fitted some different strings and I reckon they sound much more open than the other sound clips when the guitar was fitted with elixirs.

Thanks for listening

Cheers

Alan

Alan, that's the first time I've had a tune played especially for me. I thank you so much..

The Tone with the pickup placement you have is ideal for that style of playing. Nicely done my friend, and Happy New Year.

Plastic thumbpick and two metal fingerpicks or what did you use, and what bar is it a 'Flattie" type or 'Bullet' ?

Hello Basil,

Just thought I would post the blues tune to show everybody what I am trying to achieve.

Yep, two metal picks and a plastic thumb pick. I use a dobro style tone bar made from stainless steel.

Thank you for listening and Happy New Year to you my friend.

Cheers

Alan
