I wrote earlier but can't find it . HELP !!
I was told by one of your members saw that someone was looking for artists on the old Chart Records label. Well, here's another one.Lynn Anderson's first record was a duet with me.
Also does anybody know anything about Julian Thorp? Good to be here with like minded folks... Jerry Max Lane |

Hi Jerry and welcome! I sure enjoyed your singing in Weatherford last Sunday. I played pedal steel for Bobby Wayne in the Stockyards for three years back in the early 80's. They say I hold the world record for any steel player staying with him!
I believe if you search the Bar Chatter and Steel Players forums for Julian Tharpe you'll enough reading material to keep you busy for several days.

Hi Jerry,
Welcome aboard. I used to come out to Rustler's Rest and park myself on the front row and listen to you, Bobby and Dennis. I think Ron Stafford was playing with you at that time. BTW, he came by my office the other day. Love your writing. |
