As a new steel player, I was wondering if there was a link or site I could go to that would show the underside of a steel and identify the various parts. I am still unable to identify many of the parts by name. It would help when I need to do some maintenance and get advice concerning what parts to check.
thanks,
Shawn |

Hi Shawn
You might want to pick up a copy of "Pedal Steel Guitar" by Winnie Winston and Bill Keith. There is a pretty good section on understanding the mechanics of a pedal steel, as well as how to play it. By the way, I'm in London Ont, where are you?...Jerry |
