He's back! Ralph Emery has a new morning show on the Fox affiliate here in Nashville. For those of you who don't know, before Ralph's long and celebrated run on TNN's "Nashville Now" he hosted a live morning show on Nashville's NBC station, WSMV, with a live band featuring Sonny Burnette on pedal steel. And he's come out of semi-retirement for another live, 60 minute morning show - with a live band featuring Pat Severs on steel and guitar. This morning's guest was Gene Watson, backed up by the band with Pat playing some really tasty stuff on his black Emmons. Gene also premiered his new video from his new album. I'm sure everyone will join me in welcoming Ralph back to TV.

Pat was impressive......

His fills on "Look At Us" was so good that I at first thought it was a "singalong" tape.

Pat just picked up his new G.F.I. S-10 a few min. ago here, set it up,was very impressed and it sounded extremly great! He will be using it tomorrow, still loves his Emmons very much, but the G.F.I. is the guitar for the job, he claims. A nicer guy there ain't!
Notice how many pro's are playing G.F.I. now? Quite a few. Fred Newell, Ronnie Miller,Ralph Mooney,Several new pro acts in Nashville. Pat Severs is another great hi-profile player to add to this ever growing list.

Hi Kyle,

It's on from 6-7a.m., Monday through Friday. Sheree Austin was on this morning, although she didn't sing with the band. They just played her video.

I got to hang out with Ralph when I was with the Shotgun Red band. He's really a nice guy. He comes off on TV like he's kinda rude and a know it all. He only comes off like a know it all, because he does know a whole lot about country music. He was never rude to me, ever. He's a fun loving guy.
Glad he's back on TV! Too bad I can't get it here in Minnesota.
BTW: Pat Severs is a great guy, too!

Ernie

Rayman, unfortunately, it is a local show on the local FOX station WZTV in Nashville. But they have real good guests. So far Gene Watson, Billy Walker, Richard Marx, Holly Dunn, Sonny Burgess, The Kinleys, T.G. Sheppard, Stella Parton. They have a website www.wztv17.com then click on Mornings With Ralph Emery and they have a Schedule of the entertainment for the week.Larry
