Panhandle Rag played on both tunings. This is a song I always played on C6th but you can hear that it actually sounds clearer on E9th.

It is nice on E9. I've always played in on C6 also. I will spend time with this. Thanks

Danny,

I am playing a lot more chords on E9th than I used to. It also seems to be the neck of choice for a lot of the classic steel guitar instrumentals that I always thought were done entirely on C6. Thanks for giving my stuff a listen!

I really appreciate all you do. I've played this but I like your version better than mine so I'm re-learning. Thanks!

Great stuff Greg - I really appreciate it, the sound file, the rhythm track, and the tab.

I think there is an assumption - and I'm partly guilty myself - of thinking that a piece like Panhandle Rag is only for the C6 neck.

But you have demonstrated that by being creative, and thinking your way through it - you can do an outstanding job on this number in E9th!
