Topic: Condolences for David & Liz Van Allen |

I would like to offer my sincere heartfelt sympathy's to Liz & Dave Van Allen. I just
learned that Daves's wife Liz lost her dad
this past Wednesday. Liz's dad resided in Houston Texas.
Under the present circumstances and the ban on air travel at this time Dave and Liz are unable to get a flight to Houston Texas to pay their repects to Liz's dad.
I would appreciate if all of you would say a prayer for Dave & Liz for their loss.
Dave is a fine human being and a true friend
I would appreciate this very much, and I sure
Dave and Liz and little Christopher ( Dave's little son) would do so as well. In addition
to the events of the past week,,,,this family
has another crisis to endure, I pray that God will get them through this difficult time. Im sure he will.

Thank you all for the condolences.
Our personal tragedy is unfolding against the backdrop of the national catastrophe.
This has been a really trying week.
My wife got "downsized" from her job of 20 years the friday prior to the WTC attack. Then her dad in Houston went into the hospital with troubles breathing that was diagnosed as a large tumor in his windpipe. Within 48 hours he was gone. Fortunately he was not in distress for long.
Air travel not being a viable option, we have participated in family memorial by long distance, with email and telphones (can't wait for the verizon bill)
we are persevering and doing what we can.
This is more personal stuff than I would typically share on the forum, but the response to Jody's hertfelt message has been a comfort.
