I read somewhere that years ago Jody Carver (then a Fender Rep & Saleman) delivered a brand new Fender 4 neck quad Stringmaster to Wayne Newton. He had to take it directly to CBS in New York at their TV Studio so Wayne could play it on the Authur Godfrey Show.

From what I've heard, Wayne often has/had his steel set up near by backstage when at Vegas gigs. I'd like to hear him if he's been at it since kid days.

Here's a little tune that Wayne played his Stringmaster on called "Out Arizona Way"

Nick...Wayne and Jerry Newton were to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show. Yes I had a slew of Fender Instrumets for he and his brother Jerry to play.

Most likely that Tele his brother is playing has appreciated in value, just a tad...
