What would be a fair price for Fender Deluxe 8 22.5"

Mike, a clean functional 50s or 60s Blond or Walnut Deluxe 8 is worth about $900 - $1100.
The 70s Black or White models are a bit less - $750 - $1000.

Mmmmike, if you're thinking of this one on e-bay, forget it. Over $2300.80 is way too much..
Deluxe 8

It's pristine, but not worth more than £750 IMHO..
It's NOT complete, it's missing the ashtray bridge cover..

Maybe 800 bucks if it was all there. Makes you wonder why people always lose the bridge covers. Maybe in the old days a used Fender wasn't worth much, and folks were not too careful about loss of parts.
