Emmons 1974 D-10 Push-Pull (serial number 1926D). White grain-patterned mica (white tidewood?) with 8 and 4 and Emmons setup. Wallace Truetones on both necks (original pickups included, but wiring broken on one of the pickups...candidate for a rewind). Great condition with a few small dings on the mica. There’s also some paint wear along the edges of the E-9 fret board. Four of the tuning machines were replaced with Klusons (close to originals). Mike Cass added fourth knee lever (RKL, if I recall correctly, and looks indistinguishable from factory install) and did complete cleaning/set up a few years ago. Case (red plush lined), volume pedal (with feet and pin), 7/64 tuning wrench, cover, and the original removed electrical parts included. PayPal accepted, as are checks, money orders, etc., but personal check will have to clear before shipping. Selling due to replacing with S-10. Since I only have room for one steel, I am not interested in any trades, but thanks anyway.

$2,750 including insured shipping to anywhere in CONUS/Canada (non-CONUS/Canada buyer pays insured shipping).

...showing replaced tuners (all on end)

...control plate with original tone control and tone-selector switch

...to show wear along edge of E-9 neck fretboard.

...serial number (note: missing tuning screw now replaced and string retuned).

...obligatory undercarriage stroke shot #1

...obligatory undercarriage stroke shot #2

...obligatory undercarriage stroke shot #3

...neck-selector switch replaced, but tone cap and tone-selector switch original

...pedal board sticker a bit frayed, but still there

Richard:

The (top row) adjustment screw for the lowering stop is indeed there, you just can't see it in the picture. What is not there is the (bottom row) adjustment screw for open tuning. The only change that occurs on this string is when the RKL raises the F# to G#. This string stays in tune and raises perfectly, but I have never noticed it missing until now.

Thanks for pointing that out.

PS Please keep your videos coming!

Bob:

Thanks for the plug. It's a terrific guitar. I barely have time to play the E-9 neck, let alone the C-6 neck, and hence the desire to sell.

Brian:Is your emmons a cutback or fullback. It looks to be a fullback model meaning the rear skirt has not been notched.

Believe it's a fullback.

Thanks.

Looks like this guitar has a 1" lift kit.
Has it been raised or is it standard height?

Thanks

Since the crossbrace doesn't have the curve and go under the back neck's rods, I'd say it's a fatback.
I've got a '74 fatback #1992D, and it's a killer.
Let's bump this one up...

Floor to bottom of rear apron is 26" on the money. I can't remember whether I added the pedal rod lifts or whether they came with the guitar.

I replaced the missing tuning screw and made sure that the RKL raised the F# to G#.

Thanks,

Brian

Ronnie:

Thanks for the blurb. I've been to Raton, but not Des Moines...at least yet.

Thanks again.
