Well, Christmas time has come and gone for the Ozark Steel Guitar Association. Thank you Ann, Hank, and Terry for all the hard work that you put into the Christmas Party. The food was delicious, all the desserts were just right. Everyone seemed to have a great time. We thank Rob Parker for driving such a long distance to sing and play for us. (My, what a voice) Thank you Newberrys and Stewarts for your tremendous contribution in making it a wonderful day. Jerry and Austin played superbly on their steels. We're so glad Tyler Hall was there to celebrate Christmas with us. And boy, can he play that steel guitar. He's got a few more shows to play before he can get home to Alabama the 29th. I know his folks will be happy. Mr. Cardin, (I hope I have your name right) played some beautiful music on his steel. And Hank does some amazing chords in his playing. And we're thankful for the two professionals on drums and bass that kept us in good rhythm. And we appreciate everyone from the area that came to listen. The fellowship was worth the trip! Everyone is so friendly! It was an enjoyable Sunday afternoon!

4:30 AM Monday -- (yep us old men get up early--)'nuff said. Yes Jerry, it was a fine day and how about that couple that put on the inspirational music and message opening to the show ?? Come to think of it the man's name was Jeremiah and if memory serves, his wife was Venda. Wonderful touch ! They have opened the Christmas show for us for several years. There are so many to thank and so much to be said but I'll leave comments to others at this point and with any luck my son, Douglas, will be here at the office today and will be posting several pictures from the event. It will probably be in the latter half of today but watch for them at our web site www.ozarksteelguitar.com

We almost chickened out of going to this Christmas party because of bad weather. We are sure glad we made the effort and went. It was lots of fun with good food and fellowship. It's always fun to go, but this one just seemed extra fun and relaxing with lots of upbeat music. We look forward to the next time.

Jerry and I had a GREAT time yesterday also. All the food and fellowship was good. I always enjoy seeing Austin and Tyler playing together. They always have a good time. Thanks to Venda for letting Dalton play a song on her keyboard. I think he did a good job. I course I would since he's my grandchild!!!!!!!! Looking forward to the next time.

Bill, the pictures are really great. Anyone opening the page, be sure to double click on the photos to make them large and in proper scale. I sure hope I don't miss anymore of these. My wife and I had a lot of unexpected events and unable to attend this year. Hope that will all change this coming year and I can steal some more steel licks from that "Kansas Kid" with the Texas Name.... ha ha
