Anyone know who will be playing steel for John Conlee on New Years eve at the Armadillo Ballroom in Brazoria,Tx,? Jody.

Hi Jody, the last two times they were at the Llano Opry they had no steel Sad The band sounds great regardles.

I think Steve Henson goes out with John sometimes if he's not out with Randy. That would be a great show to see if Steve would happen to be there. I'd pay to see that myself.

Jody, are you going to be backing Mr. Conlee; or does he furnish his own band? That GIG must pay a premium for New Years Eve. Especially with a big name head-lining the program. Have seen him a couple of concerts and there was no steel guitar; very disappointing..Bernie Rolling Eyes Whoa! Very Happy

Yes Doug,I'm still with the Oaks. We're on our Christmas tour right now - Just a few more days and I'll be home with my girls !! My goodness, I'm ready. This has been a 38 city tour !! Believe it or not, I've played 'Rose Colored Glases" a time or two myself! Hope John has a great New Years Eve show.
