| I could never get PGmusic demos to work for me. I just upgraded to 2007 and would go to 2008 if it was worth it. I use Realplayer and it always says it has to download something and then comes back and tells me it's not available. It's too bad I've been using BIAB for years. Larry |

but the cost is 129 to 500 bucks
If you already have band in a box, you can purchase an upgrad forgot what that costs but it is cheaper.

I upgraded to 2008 Megapak for $49. That includes all the styles but not all the real drum tracks.
The lowest price for a first time buyer is $129
I will be interested to see how the real tracks actually work in a song. I'm waiting for the CD's to arrive.
Band In a Box has a free trial version if you want to check it out. There are some large files to download. |

What I am looking for is well I don't really don't know what you can do with it. Can you use it with an existing CD like George Jones. If so how would you use it?

It's my understanding that the Real Tracks are wave files from live playing much like the real drum tracks they started with last years version.
Wonder who the pedal steel player is? |

Never knew it before but you can use files like wav, midi, wma, mp3 (just converted one), wmv, cda so you have a wide sellection....bad thing when you use other files other then biab files, it doesn't show you the chords of them or at least I cannot get them to show!

| I know you can import the chords from a midi file and I'm thinkin from an mp3 file now. Sometimes if I'm unfamilar with the chords to a song I'm tryin to learn I just find a midi file for that song and then just import the chords from it to BIAB. |

| I Just upgraded to 2008 and from the file menu you can go to Open Audio and load mp3's wav. and what have you. A great tool for figuring out some of those tough ones.....Eddie |

Hi gang!
I discovered that if you write a 12 bar blues with an even eights or sixteenth groove, using subtitute chords, then change them back after the peddle steel is programmed, it can very very interesting.
In a 3 chord blues with C7, f7 and g7
sub gm for c7, cm for f7, and dm for g7.
After the steel has entered the minor licks, change the minor chords back for c7, f7, and g7.
