so nice to have you on the forum, Stu. I've got a lot of records with your name on them. I hope to see you again in person one of these days. How was the Deputies reunion at the Midnight Jamboree?

I'm also a member of the Ween forum, and you are quite a legend over there I gotta say! I'd love to hear any stories you might have about touring or recording with those guys.

Anyway... happy holidays to you as well. I just love your playing.

The picture is of Louis Armstrong, along with Billy Grammer, Stu Basore, Henry Strzlecki, Willie Ackerman, Larry Butler and Jack Eubanks. July 1970 New York @ Regent sound studios. Project: Louis'Country and Western' Armstrong. Thanks for the memory. Stu.

Hey Stu, my band leader, Tim Gillis, is doing one of his songs that you played on. Its called "Sugar Sweet". It was probably recorded sometime in the '70's. The song was just revived after many years. We'll be doing it in a show that pays tribute to Opry members. I guess Tim must have done it on the Opry back then as a guest.
